Silent Knight fire alarm parts and panel boards
Silent Knight panels are a common choice for small and mid-sized commercial buildings, and most of what is needed for them over a system's life is board-level and accessory parts rather than complete panels. This section covers replacement main boards, SLC interface expanders that add addressable points, network interface cards, single-mode and multi-mode fiber cards, relay driver boards, distributed power modules, cabinets and remote mounting kits, seismic mounting kits, firefighter phone jacks and replacement microphones for voice systems.
This is service and expansion inventory. When a board fails, match the board part number from the installed unit rather than the panel model, because several panel generations share an outward appearance while using different boards. When expanding a system, confirm the point capacity the panel already has and how many points the expander adds, and check that the cabinet has physical room and the power budget for what is being added.
Fiber cards need the fiber type in the building confirmed first, since single-mode and multi-mode are not interchangeable. Voice and firefighter telephone accessories have to match the specific voice system in the panel.
