Product details
The Fiplex BDA-DBC-22 is a passive dual band combiner that merges a 135 to 520 MHz path and a 690 to 2700 MHz path onto one common port. In a public safety distributed antenna system, it allows a single antenna feed or coaxial run to carry a low-band radio service together with a high-band or cellular service, with enough isolation to keep either path from desensitizing the other.
The unit contains no amplifier and needs no power connection; it performs filtering only. Its data sheet is titled DUPLEXER, while the DBC part code refers to a combiner.
Key features
- Two channels: 135 to 520 MHz and 690 to 2700 MHz
- Low insertion loss and high isolation between paths
- 50 W average per port
- N-female connectors
- IP65 rated for indoor or outdoor installation
Ordering note
Do not confuse this with the BDA-DBC-12, a low-band duplexer for 136 to 174 and 380 to 520 MHz with 0.7 dB loss, 50 dB isolation and a weight of 0.38 kg. Related passive parts include the BDA-DC directional couplers, BDA-HC3-L2 hybrid coupler and PSx-L2 splitters; the amplifier is a separate HONBDA unit.
