Fire-Lite 17007 Hex Key 9/64 in. for BG-12 Hex-Lock Pull Stations

The Fire-Lite 17007 is the 9/64 in. hex key used to reset hex-lock BG-12 Series manual pull stations. To reset an operated station, insert the key in the lock, open the cover and return the handle; Fire-Lite notes the hex lock needs only a quarter turn to lock or unlock.

BG-12 stations come in hex-lock and key-lock versions, and the lock type determines the tool: hex-lock models use this wrench, while key-lock models use the 17003 key set.

Compatibility

Fits hex-lock models such as the BG-12S single-action station with pigtail connections and the BG-12 dual-action station with screw terminals. Key-lock models (BG-12L, BG-12SL, BG-12LSP, BG-12LO, BG-12LOB, BG-12LA, BG-12LPS and BG-12LPSP) take the 17003 key set instead.

Ordering note

Check the model number first: an L in a BG-12 part number indicates a key lock, which this wrench will not operate. The addressable BG-12LX is also reset with a key rather than a hex wrench.
