Product details
The Fire-Lite IPDACT-2 is a FireWatch IP alarm communicator that carries a fire panel's Contact ID reports over Ethernet instead of telephone lines.
It connects to the primary and secondary telco ports of a Fire-Lite panel with a DACT and keeps supervised line voltage on both, so the panel dials as usual with no reprogramming. The IPDACT-2 detects the off-hook condition, converts the Contact ID message into encrypted UDP packets and sends it to a Teldat VisorALARM PLUS receiver, with supervision every 30 to 90 seconds rather than once a day.
Key features
- No change to panel programming
- Two supervised inputs and two outputs
- 10/100 Ethernet with DHCP or static IP
- Encrypted UDP transmission with 30 to 90 second supervision
Ordering note
The IPDACT-2 reports only to a Teldat VisorALARM PLUS IP receiver; the central station supplies the account ID, receiver addresses and UDP port. This model has no upload/download modem; for that, use the IPDACT-2UD.
