Fireray 1010-000 Prism Long Range, Four-Reflector Accessory for Fireray One and Hub Reflective to 394 ft

The Fireray 1010-000 Prism (Long Range) is a four-reflector accessory that extends an FFE reflective beam smoke detector, such as the Fireray One or Fireray Hub Reflective, from 50 m (164 ft) to 120 m (394 ft).

A reflective beam detector measures the light returned by a prism, so its range depends on how much of the beam comes back. Beyond 50 m a single 100 mm prism does not return enough light and FFE calls for a four-reflector array. This accessory is that array; it replaces the standard reflector at the far end of the beam path and is not a detector itself.

Ordering note

FFE requires four reflectors above 50 m; the single reflector that ships with the detector covers up to 50 m. Use the 1050-000 adjustment bracket with this array; the single-prism bracket 1040-000 does not fit. Not to be confused with the 5000-004 long range prism kit for the older Fireray 5000 (50 to 100 m / 164 to 330 ft).
