The Notifier FZM-1 is an addressable interface module that brings a zone of conventional two-wire smoke detectors onto an intelligent SLC loop.
Conventional two-wire detectors cannot respond to an addressable poll and need a separate 24 V supply. The FZM-1 monitors and supervises one zone of compatible two-wire detectors and reports it to the panel at a single address as normal, open or alarm. It replaces the MMX-2 in existing systems.

Ordering note
Detectors must be UL compatible with the module. Do not substitute the FMM-1 (dry contacts on a 47 kohm EOL; cannot power two-wire detectors) or the FDM-1 (dual Class B monitor using two addresses).
