Product details
The Potter PAD200-PHD is an analog addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with a built-in thermistor heat element, for panels using the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. It provides a 135 °F fixed-temperature heat alarm with selectable rate of rise.
The sensor twists onto a PAD series base, ordered separately, which carries the field wiring and any relay, isolator or sounder option. The panel and sensor monitor chamber condition together, compensating for drift and reporting a dirty sensor.
Key features
- Photoelectric smoke plus thermistor heat sensing
- Fixed 135 °F heat alarm with selectable 15 °F per minute rate of rise
- Drift compensation and dirty-sensor reporting
- DIP switch addressing, 127 addresses per loop
- UL 268 7th Edition; UUKL for smoke control
Ordering note
Compatible bases are the PAD100-4DB and PAD100-6DB standard bases, PAD100-IB isolator, PAD100-RB relay, PAD100-SB sounder and PAD100-SPKB speaker. In the PAD200 range, the PAD200-PD is smoke only, the PAD200-PCD swaps heat for carbon monoxide, and the PAD200-PCHD includes all three.
