Product details
The Potter RCDS-2001 (stock no. 3001005) is a keyed releasing circuit disable switch for clean agent systems. It is a release-inhibit device, not a panel silence switch.
Its orange leads wire in series with the releasing circuit between the panel output and the EOL diode assembly that feeds the solenoid, so turning the key to disabled physically opens the path to the solenoid. A separate yellow pair connects to a supervisory zone, so the panel shows a supervisory condition while release is locked out. This matches the NFPA 2001 requirement for a physical disconnect rather than a software disable, and the key can be removed only in the enabled position.
Key features
- Physically disconnects the releasing circuit
- Reports a supervisory condition to the panel when disabled
- Key removable only in the enabled position
- Green LED for normal/enabled; amber LED for release circuit disabled
- Stainless steel plate for single gang or handy box mounting
Ordering note
The RCDS-1 (3001002) is the NFPA 72 version whose key can be removed in either position. The RCDS-PM1 and RCDS-PM2 are toggle assemblies that mount inside a PFC-4410G3 enclosure.
