RSG NC-S1-R Single Pole Break Glass Manual Station with Hammer and Chain, Red

The RSG NC-S1-R is a red, single-pole break-glass manual station supplied with a chained striking rod. Breaking the obscured glass plate releases a heavy-duty plunger-type switch and starts the alarm. The rod is optional in use, since a blow from a hand, coin or key will also break the glass.

RSG publishes this station on a "Manual Stations — Non-Code" datasheet, separate from its SP series manual fire alarm stations, so confirm acceptance with the authority having jurisdiction wherever a code-required manual fire alarm box is specified.

Ordering note

The NC-S2 is the double-pole version. The NC-S3 is the same but with a micro switch and is approved for public school buildings. The NC-S1-E and NC-S2-E are emergency power-off versions for motors and pumps, not for fire signaling, and the NC-S1-P adds a key-operated pre-signal switch.
