Sampling hole clips give each sampling point on an aspirating pipe network a set, color-coded hole size, so the location and diameter can be read at a glance during commissioning and maintenance, which helps in large open spaces such as warehouses. Every hole is drilled with the same 10 mm (27/64") bit and the clip fitted over it sets the final size, instead of using a range of drill sizes. A chamfered hole entry helps reduce the dust build-up that airflow friction causes around a plain drilled hole.
